seems genuine to me!!! The item looked legit, the tags matched up, and I didn’t notice any issues!!! Shipping was a little slower than I expected, but overall I’m happy with it!!!

"Damaged chair and slow replies"
I ordered a chair from Skandium and when it arrived, the frame had a dent and the packaging was scuffed up. I get that things can get damaged in transit, but the frustrating part was literally trying to get it sorted.

I had to send photos more than once and then wait days between replies, which made the whole thing drag on. The refund or replacement options weren’t very clear either. It did get resolved eventually, but it took way more chasing than it should have.

Ordering from skandium.com was mostly fine, but the checkout process was more clunky than I expected. I had to go back and double-check my delivery details twice, and then the payment page took ages to load, which added some unnecessary stress. I was sitting there wondering if it had frozen or if I’d need to start over. It did go through in the end and I got the confirmation email, so nothing major went wrong, but it definitely wasn’t the smoothest checkout experience.

I had to send something back and, as someone who usually dreads dealing with refunds, I was expecting it to drag on. But the money was back in my account really quickly, with no chasing or awkward follow-up emails needed. It was all straightforward, and my experience with skandium.com was smooth enough that I’d happily shop there again.

My order did show up in the end, but the delivery side was a bit hit and miss. The updates weren’t very clear, and it arrived a few days later than expected. I thought the range was really nice, especially if you’re into that clean Scandi style. There are some lovely brands and designs to browse through, and it feels well curated. My only little frustration was that a few things I liked didn’t have many sizes left, so I couldn’t always pick what I wanted.

I found the chair a little cheaper here than at most other places, and the delivery was standard with no issues. It may not be the cheapest site for every single item, but from what I saw, the prices are fair. I think other shoppers looking around for a decent deal would probably feel the same. I’d be happy to order from them again.

"Stock info needs to be more reliable"
I do like the products on Skandium and they’ve got some really nice stuff, but the stock situation was a bit frustrating. A couple of items looked available when I ordered, and then I found out afterwards they weren’t actually in stock. Customer service did get back to me, which I appreciated, but it still meant waiting around after placing the order. I’d probably use them again, but I do think they need to be more upfront and accountable about stock availability so customers know what they’re actually buying before they check out.

"Nice site, just a little clunky"
Skandium.com has a clean look, and to be fair, it’s easy to find the main product categories. The site did feel a bit slow for me here and there though, which gets slightly annoying when you’re just trying to browse normally.

Some of the filters weren’t as clear as they could be, and I ended up clicking around more than I think should be necessary to compare a few items. The product photos are good, and most pages are tidy, so it’s not a bad experience overall.

Checkout was fine and not difficult, but it didn’t feel especially smooth either. Common sense says a site like this should make browsing and buying feel a bit more effortless, but it does work well enough

My order showed up on time and the item itself was fine, so I can’t really complain too much about that part.

The packaging just felt kind of rushed. The box had a small dent and there wasn’t much padding inside, which was disappointing for the price. I also found the communication a bit unclear, so I wasn’t totally sure what to expect with the delivery. Not a disaster, but definitely something they could handle better.

"Nice showroom, but my gut says the service could be better"
I popped into the Skandium showroom to check out a chair and some lighting I’d been looking at online. The space itself is really nice, and they’ve got a solid selection, so it was definitely useful to see everything in person and get a proper feel for the pieces.
The staff were polite enough, but I had to hang around for a while before getting help, and a few of the answers felt a bit vague. My gut feeling was that for the prices, the experience should have felt a bit more attentive. Not a terrible visit at all, just a bit hit and miss overall.

They helped me pick out pieces that actually feel like they work together, which I probably wouldn’t have figured out on my own. They’ve got a great eye, or at least it definitely felt that way to me.
